Vacation shimashou! ^_^

I'm in the West Island, house-sitting for the soon-to-be in-laws. ;) Yay, vacation! FINALLY!!! Tali came over last night and I ended up getting pretty nicely drunk; Mike and I had 2 bottles of wine between us and I had beer on top of that. Much lulz were had and we did karaoke, and other stuff happened that I don't much remember. But I DO know that plans were made and we're now going cross-country skiing next week. On New Year's Eve, actually...a few hours before the party. Yayness!

Mike's in the living room, watching Batman and saying the lines along with the movie as he wears his Batman T-shirt. This is one reason why I think boys are awesome. <3

YES. Batman movies SHOULD be memorized, and quoted, and so forth.

And it's not just that. It's the whole quoting and wearing the T-shirt...getting THAT excited about a superhero or sci-fi character...the passion, it's WONDERFUL. There are so few women who do that. Obviously, there are some, but we're in the minority. ;)

"You're not the mayor" (Batman Returns)
"I'm not wearing hockey pads" (Dark Knight) really an all purpose kind of statement
"Swear to ME!!!!!" cant remember is thats Begins or Dark Knight, but its also pretty all purpose... ~

Oh, there will be PLENTY of things to do that aren't Batman-related, for sure! Lots of booze, karaoke, and Tali's supposed to bring over Rock Band. ;)

Also, if even just ONE person is up to it, you know I'd LOOOOVE to go play in the snow in a drunken frenzy, lol. Well, I guess we'll see how cold it is. If the weather sucks even I will be up for staying inside where it's toasty WARM. ;)

Oh, and btw Brian-->I got your Facebook message about the skiing...I'm not sure the exact time we're going but I'll let you know once the plans are straightened out. It's going to be in the *early* afternoon though, definitely not later than that, because we'll have some last minute tidying up to do before the party. Do you have a car or would you need us to pick you up? Seeing as none of us have skiis of our own and we'll all be renting, we should have plenty of space in the car to give some lifts down to Cap St-Jacques. :)

I found out today that it's $10 for 2 hours, $15 for 3 hours. I still don't know what time we're going. It was Tali's idea, so we still gotta discuss it with her. I'll let you know asap. :)
