cough cough ache pain blehh

To people who aren't on my Facebook but read this...I'm sorry if you contacted me yesterday and I didn't reply, but I have the flu right now, and yesterday it was exceptionally bad. I spent the entire day curled up in my PJs watching DVDs with Mike, who eeringly coincidentally enough, had the same flu and got it at the same time. o_O We *NEVER* get the flu at the same time, so that's very weird...but very convenient, too. It was a cozy day, although a fevery achey-pain one too, spent in the fuzzy cloud of PM flu meds. Today I was feeling a bit better so I went out for some shopping, with freshly washed hair so YES it was wet (I couldn't NOT go out without washing my hair first, it was oily and greasy and NASTY), and to top it all off, my boots were not feeling very waterproof today, so what an awesome combination of stupid that was. I hope I didn't make myself sicker. Not that I care TOO much, as right now is the BEST possible time to be sick, right before vacation starts. :) Annnd, I NEEDED to get out of the house, sick or no, 'cause 24 hours cooped up in this cute yet TINY place is just too much! Especially since lately I've been spending all my days sitting in one spot, doing schoolwork...it's made me insanely restless. I *have* to get up, get out, and move around. We all do. But now I think I've caused my asthma to start acting up, LOVELY.
Anyway, to all those who tried to contact me: I'll call y'all back once I feel less feverish.

My neighbours are blasting their TV quite loudly and I can hear it and they're watching...Curb Your Enthusiasm! HAHAHAH! What good taste! As a result, I am amused rather than annoyed.

My niece is having a bad case of flu at the moment. I got a flu shot. However, she is taking the train from Toronto to Kingston Monday morning to wite one final exam at Queen's. Good luck to her.

I've never gotten a flu shot before. Except last year, because of H1N1, and I didn't really have a say in the matter because of my asthma and because I was working with really young kids. It made me a little sick, I didn't like it. :/

I had a similar day on Saturday except it was due to too much tequila the night before. No hangover but I spent 24 hours feeling extremely nauseous and I'm still a bit out of it now.
