Okay, WTF.

I had a dream that a friend of Mike's from Japan was pregnant. I have no idea why I dreamt about her, but dreams are weird like that. I thought the dream was hilarious because a) I can't imagine her having a kid, and b) because I never really think about her, so why was my dream about HER? I thought about messaging her on Facebook to tell her, but first I told Mike about the dream and you know what he said? That he just found out she was pregnant.
How FUCKED up is that?!?!

It's not the first time I've dreamt something that ended up happening in real life (though NEVER this immediately!), and I know I'm not the only one this has happened to!

Have you ever had a dream happen in real life? What was it?

What do you think dreams ARE?

I absolutely cannot wait until science is advanced enough to figure out wtf dreams actually are/why we dream. I hope it happens during my life time, because I gotta know!

I haven't had dreams, but I've had thoughts. Like I'll know something is wrong with my fiance and something is. Or when my friend's father died I suddenly was thinking about my father dying. My dad has totally dreamed about people saying goodbye in a dream, only to wake up and find they have passed away. I think dreams are lots of things, the subconscious coming out the play. Wind through your issues, fears and wishes with wild imagery that seems to make no sense, but usually does somehow. The new age crystal studying hippie in me likes to think dreams are when our souls are the least connected to our bodies. That's how you can pick up what's out there in the ether, or see other people. It's your consciousnesses touching each other out in the intangible.

I love dreams!

Dreams are simply randomly firing synapses in your brain, and any relation to anything happening in real life is purely coincidental. Sorry :\

You don't know more than scientists do. Sorry. :/

Not to mention, this fails to explain how we can dream about places we've never been to or about people we haven't met yet.

i've had three weird dreams like that in my life.

1. i had a dream that i won the bronze medal in some competition. the next week, i won 3rd place in a Mathemathlon!

2. it was a Friday night and i had a dream that my classmate Lorca was being dumped by his girlfriend. the next Monday when i saw him in school, he told me that he was indeed dumped!

it is perhaps coincidental but it is a WEIRD coincidence.

I don't think they're coincidences. :)

Someone once told me that dreams are answers to questions we don't know how to ask yet.
