Dreams and work and...stuff!

I'm now back in the city and pretty sick. I have that cold that's been going around. Or maybe not THAT cold, but A cold. lol. I had some contact C and ended up passing out for like 11 hours. I sooo needed that! My dreams were totally, totally crazy as a result--action-packed and storylined to the brim. I dreamt, among other things, about the frakking Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. How crazy is that?! In my dream, Donatello had built a probability machine that changed the odds of any given situation. The machine ended up getting stuck on a setting that meant the Turtles would have a 99:1 chance of LOSING any fight they got into...a fight to the *death*. Hahaha.
There was also a dream about me living in a musical in the snow, and a dream on The Island where I was Kate and I was trying to get away from the Smoke Monster.
Is it any surprise that I woke up still exhausted? Ha! I think not.

I started looking for boxes yesterday. I came home with two boxes. TWO. People downtown are NOT very accomodating when it comes to giving out empty boxes. They all say nooo, we need them, or we give them back, or we recycle them, or other BS. Wtf? I need to move in 2 weeks, people. Gimme your boxes! This wasn't a problem back in April, why is it a problem now?! Grrr.

I just took more Contact C...I'm pretty sick but I wanna party tonight. If it makes me sicker, who cares, really? It's not like I work, so if there's any time I can force my body to go through more than I can handle, it's now!
Of course, I'll probably have a single drink, feel like puking, and then stop. :P

I need a job, dammit! A FULL-TIME job. Doing part-time last year was not the best idea in the world. I could barely scrape by. Now my rent is gonna be even higher. I need full-time! I hate this! I can't wait to be employed again. I think the school admins are gonna be open soon, so I can start sending my CV out, finally. Though I am NOT looking forward to waking up at 5:30 AM again. Hahaha, the only thing I don't like about being a teacher.

I wonder if I'll be at a primary school or a high school this year? Oooh, the possibilities...!

It's hella out of the way for you, but the SAQ at Queen Mary/Decarie is pretty cool about giving out boxes.
90% of our boxes though, we got by going out really late at night on days before recycling pickup, and taking boxes from behind stores. It required a lot more tape though, since they were usually broken down. And you might get the occasional weird look. :D

Well, we get shipments every day (except for weekends) and the number of boxes vary. We just got all our boxes for the new floorset so we probably won't be getting a whole lot more for a while. But like I said, we still get some every day. If you want, I can ask people to keep some big boxes aside!
