bee_york | Good timing, and lots of it! :)

My apartment is almost back to normal; still kind of eh but all the water's gone, and thankfully nothing was damaged. We were very lucky! And the luck doesn't end there; the pain got worse from my head injury, so I ended up going to the hospital to make sure it wasn't a concussion. It wasn't, and the med student who examined me was SO. FUCKING. HOT. Omgggg. I don't know if any of y'all were ever tested for a concussion before, but it's a rather longish test that involves lots of TOUCHING. Yup, so I had a really intimate exam with a really sexy young man. It was so surreal I actually wondered if I was on some kind of hidden camera show, lol.

Anyway, so no concussion, all is well, the apartment was smelling like a SEWER so while we waited for our super to get hold of carpet shampooers, we decided to take advantage of Mike's parents being in Toronto and went to stay at their house in the West Island. Very oddly enough, all of Mike's company's performanes (except tonight's) are in the West Island at this time, so we're staying in the West Island at the perfect time for reals, yo.
Tonight's performance is in Parc Lanfontaine, so we're back downtown for a little while. I'm actually going to check out the show tonight there with Andrée and Paul. It's going to be my third time seeing it. Tomorrow night I'm going *again*...we're going back to the West Island tonight after the show, as tomorrow's performance is going to be at Eccelstone Park in Kirkland. I used to walk my dog around there ALL THE TIME when I was a teenager. Going back there is going to leave me just dripping with nostalgia! lol

Well, I better get going. Like I did every other time I went to see Romeo & Juliet, I'm going to be dining in the park at the same time. Andrée's even bringing a bottle of red wine! Should be fun. I hope we don't get rained out! :)
