Commercial love

OMFG. The cute cute CUUUUUUUUUUUUTE Excel ad that I love so much (with the cutest little chibi food characters in the WORLD) was just on...much to my chagrin they seemed to have stopped playing it for awhile, but now it's BACK. I LOVE THIS COMMERCIAL SO MUCH. It's so cute and I always get so excited when it's on!



THEN it was followed by the latest ad with the Old Spice guy. OMG that commercial is also love, but in a different way. It just DRIPS with awesome. :) Anyway, this awesome commercial combination made me so happy! I know that sounds ridiculous, but...whatever.

Do any of you love those commercials, too? Or other commercials? Are there any that genuinely get you excited when they come on?

I also love the one for...hmmm, I'm not sure what it's for, but it has baby sea turtles hatching and running across the beach. I'm obsessed with that ad but that's also because I'm obsessed with sea turtles. <3

I read today that Old Spice sales are way, way up since they started that campaign. I like them. But I was also using Old Spice before it was cool. :p

I gotta say though, for the most part these days, I don't watch many commercials. Getting a PVR has CHANGED MY LIFE, and the only time I watch live TV with ads anymore is either when it's some sort of big event or some kinda sports thing.

And the ads that run during sporting events are generally pretty lame.

Yeah, I know quite a few people who have been using Old Spice for years. But it makes sense so many more people are using it now! XD

Both of those adverts are brilliant. One of my favourites ever is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkkQnmr_vaA this one for Desperate Housewives. I haven't ever really watched the show, but I tend to get into adverts for programmes more than adverts for products.
I also like the commercial for...Kotex? The one where the girl is like "I really just want to dance" and "oh, *that's* what it's supposed to look like!" in reference to other ad campaigns for tampons/pads.

I LOVE THE EXCEL ADS TOO. I think the doughnut is my favorite just cause he looks like he's going :O all the time. Eeeeeee!

I also like the Dos Equis commercials. "He can speak French, in Russian. He's the most interesting man in the world." :D
