For those of you reading this who aren't in Montreal, we're currently in the middle of a heat wave and it suuuuuuuuuuucks. Right now it's not even 1 pm yet and it's already 35C. UGH. I hope this is over soon. To be honest though, this is nowhere near as bad as the heat in Japan. Ever since I've been to Japan, I don't find Montreal summers as unbearable as I used to. If we had this heat wave this time 2 years ago, I'd find it a lot worse than I do now. Either way though, this IS weather I could do without, and luckily today I don't have any reason to leave the apartment--no apartment viewing appointments or doctor appointments or anything. I'm just gonna sit here in front of my fans. What sucks though is that I am allergic to the carpets in here, so I'm all itchy and sneezy and boiling and sticky at the same time. What a shitty combination! Thank the gods I'm done my period though, otherwise this would really be some kind of living hell right now, lol. You see? Things can always be worse! ;)

I also have a huge headache 'cause I got PLASTERED last night. Mike and I drank a nice amount of the booze we picked up in Ontario and played Wii for like 4 hours. I'm allllmost done Paper Mario. We bought a classic-style controller while in Toronto so now we can download N-64 games, too. When I got drunk enough, I took out my credit card and bought Mario 64. I haven't played that in ages!
And seeing as I won't be leaving the apartment today, it looks like there's gonna be looootttss more Wii-playing today.

Super Paper Mario! I have that too - I've been playing it!

I bought Super Mario Galaxy (the first one) a couple of weekends ago, but haven't had time to start it yet.

OMG! Where in the game are you? I got to Chapter 6 last night. :)

I've never played Mario Galaxy, BUT I watched Tekt play it for a bit, it's AWESOME. Such a beautiful game!!! :)

Actually, I haven't played Paper Mario in a couple of weeks or so (I've been busy with OT and houseguests and whatnot) so I can't remember exactly where I am. I *think* I might be at the same spot as you? I think the last chapter I finished was the one where you start in space, and then you need to go find the "helmet"?

But I can't remember for sure!

Hmmm. I think the space one is chapter 3, but I can't remember exactly.

Anyway, it's so addictive! Too much story though. Sometimes the characters can't shut up tho, omg. >:/ lol
But otherwise it's soooo fun. <3

Yeah, I honestly can't remember where I am or what the last chapter I played was. I feel like I've opened five doors on top of the castle though? I'll try and remember to have a look tonight and come back here to tell you. :)

I find it a lot harder than a typical Mario game!

You know what Mario game I find SUPER hard? Super Mario Wii! I've only played it a couple of times, but I dunno...maybe I just really suck at it, haha. But I feel so clumsy when I play that game! I just find myself getting killed ALL THE TIME. XD

That one I've been playing more recently! I'm at World 7 and I really like it! Once in a while, I'll get stuck on a stage, but I've been able to overcome them all so far!
