So, school is done. It finished on Friday. I don't feel too sad or too anything yet, but I think it just hasn't hit me yet! ;) Tomorrow is Wednesday and that's when I'd normally go back to school, so maybe it'll feel more real for me tomorrow (as I don't usually work on Mondays or Tuesdays unless I'm subbing). Is it egotistical if I post this?

My grade 4 group left this for me. XD I feel so loved! Well, by THEM, anyway. And certain other groups. Not so much by certain OTHER groups (grade 6, I'm looking at you! ugh).
Anyway, sad or no, I'm very glad to be on summer vacation. That's something else that hasn't hit me yet. I have a whole summer off. It's like being a kid again! And on top of it all, I got some really great news. I had been worried about being unemployed for the summer and needing to get teacher's unemployment (apparently they have a special unemployment for teachers who don't have a contract that continues into the next year). Well, I no longer have to worry---the schoolboard gave me a lump sum to survive the summer with. $2500. Yeaaaaahhhhhhhh. To say that's a load off my chest (and just flat-out EXCITING), is a bit of an understatement.
Now school is done and the Montreal Fringe is done...what will I do next? I'm not sure yet, but tonight the staff from my school is gathering at the Trois Brasseurs in Old Montreal so I guess I'll go join them!
