bee_york | The end of the Fringe

I went Fringe-ing for twelve hours yesterday. TWLEVE FRAKKING HOURS. I got to the Fringe at 2 pm and got home at 2 am. I got together with Tali,

v0idnull, and

urbangeo and wandered the St-Laurent street fest about 50 times, and I drank and ate all day long. I lost track of what I drank, and I ate so much yummyness--deep-fried plantain, churros, veggie sandwiches, crepes (well that was actually BEFORE the Fringe, but whatever), nachos, and a big crunchy jelly-candy doughnut. YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. I was like this endless pit yesterday, it was insane!
And what shows did I see? Shavirez, which was....OK, it wasn't that funny, and to be honest, it was by far the LEAST good show I saw at the Fringe this year. BUT, it was still pretty cute (and the props were AMAZING, omg) and you could tell the performers were having an amazing time on stage and I bet they would be a blast to hang out with in real life. :)
Then we saw Pretending Things Are a Cock, which was really funny. :)
THEN we saw Miss Sugarpuss Must Die! (where Mikey was finally able to join us, YAY <3), which was amazzzziiiiiiing, omg. I can't stress enough how well put-together that show is. It's so good and different and wonderful in many ways. It's one of those shows I watch and think to myself, "Now THIS is how you make a show!" There were NO slow parts at all. LOVE. <3
Then I went to partake in part of the 13th Hour, and I don't know why, because I always want to go and then when I DO get there I'm usually bored. :P

Anyway, I might make it out to the Frankie Awards tonight, I'm not sure yet. But for now, I'm going to Tams. I'm actually going to Tams! I haven't been in over a year. It doesn't make sense, I know, especially now---I live down the street from them. But there's always, always, ALWAYS something that comes up. Sundays always seem to be such busy days for me!
