Mike and I went apartment hunting today and it was the perfect weather today (not like when we tried on Saturday, OMG). We found some nice places in the Plateau for under $700 but one was already taken and the other is for March 15th, which is a little soon for us. But OMG location! Overall it was a very encouraging hunt. There's lots to find out there if you're patient and go on foot. Plateau FTMFW. ;)

SOoooo excited for Lost tonight. It's going to be LOCKE-centric, so you just know it's going to be *good*. For the first time since the new season started, Mike will actually be home for it, so we can actually watch it live together. Yay! Excitement. For this reason, I will not be doing the live Lost chat tonight on MSN. I'm sorry! I will definitely let you guys know when I'm doing it next. :)

Ugh. This time next week (actually, at EXACTLY this time, oddly enough--I was born around 6 pm, ha!) I will be entering the final year of my 20s. Ew ew ew ew EWWWWWW. I AM OFFICIALLY FUCKING OLD. I know I say that every year, but I only started feeling it for real when I turned 25, and this is the first year I actually don't want my birthday to come. Even last year, I was excited about my birthday with my BSG-themed party. And of course this year I'm excited about going to Nuit Blanche. I just wish I didn't have to turn another year older. I don't want to be 30 next year. Or ever. WTF. :(

I'm one of the youngest people on my f-list, so I apologize to everyone reading this who turned 30 awhile ago! But think back to when YOU turned 29. I bet you were feeling the exact same way. :P

LOL!!!

You know what? Honestly, the thirties are pretty awesome. My twenties were a lot about being indecisive and broke, learning things for the first time, etc. I feel a lot more grounded now and I'm doing more with my life. I also deal with most things a little more gracefully and I have way more confidence. It'll rock, you'll see! Besides, you have such a youthful appearance! I can't wait for Nuit Blanche! :D

Oh and I need some hints on what you'd like for your b-day missy!

I bet--no, I know--that my 30s will end up being better than my 20s for a variety of reasons. It's just the idea of turning 30 that's freaking me out. And that's only because TV shows tell me to freak out, so I do. :(

Your lovely presence! That's it & that's all. :D

I've been feeling old since I turned 15, so I feel ya!

Good luck on the hunt.

Oh man! I felt kind of weird when I turned 18, but I knew I was still young. There was something about *25* that just made me feel different, and something about *29* (well, that 'something' being one year away from thirty!) that's freaking me out! ;)

And thanks!

Thirty didn't bother me even a little bit. I had a couple of What The Fuck weeks leading up to 31, but, really, what changes? The big big big changes happen so slowly you don't even notice them happening.

I agree a million percent that nothing actually changes, and it's all in your head. Unfortunately my perception on these kinds of things is very very much influenced by pop culture. Pop culture tells me to be all "OMG~" about it, so I'm all "OMG~" about it. I'm not proud about that, but such is my mind! ;)

I'm sure once I'm actually 30 I'll feel fine. It's just the getting there part, once you start to get close. Insert roller coaster analogy here, or something.

HA! That's *EXACTLY* my plan for my 30th birthday, too! Also, I've never been to Disney World so it's gonna be HELLA exciting. XD
