The infection thing is now bugging me - if Claire's got the infection and is going all Rousseau-like, wouldn't that suggest that Rousseau was infected, and not her shipmates? Maybe she was infected and it made her think they were out to get her, but they were actually trying to get her to the temple to cure her...and as for her being relatively normal when we first meet her, well...maybe years of being alone cured her?
I really liked the way they had Sayid being tortured in much the same way as Rousseau did to him, and for partially the same reason. I love when they refer back to S1 like that, also when Dr Ethan is all "I don't want to have to stick needles in you" and it's like OH YES YOU DO YOU WANT TO TAKE HER BAYBEH! Ahem.
I didn't think it was tooooo horrible an episode, I wish there were more answers, but now we sort of know what's up with Sayid - just not what the ramifications are.
At this point, they keep introducing new others and I really want to know exactly where/when they come from...I mean, we know Cindy was living with the others in Dharmaville, or we at least know she was hanging out with them when Jack was in a cage, but I somehow doubt Lennon was, so which of them were always in the temple? And why? And OMG I'M STILL PISSED ABOUT S3 AND WANT TO KNOW WHO THE CRAP THAT SHERRIF LADY WAS/WHY JULIET WAS BRANDED/WHY THEY HAD THE VIKING FUNERAL FOR COLLEEN/HOW THEY KNEW TO BUILD A RUNWAY/ETCETC. I know they were all unsure about the future of Lost, but those are all things I really want answers to and I'll never get them. :( Not to mention, I don't need to know *how* Walt got his powers, but I want to know *why* they were special to the Others. And while we're at it, XPLAIN BEA KLUGH. Also, I'm convinced Mikhail is still alive.

With Lost, anything is possible. Almost.

It sucks to think about how much we're never going to have answered about the show. :( I mean, I love Lost to death and the writers are my heroes, but they sure as hell ain't perfect and have dug themselves into some ridiculous holes they'll never be able to write themselves out of. There's way, way, way, WAY too much left to explain in the like, 12 hours of show they have left. (Sob!! Isn't that depressing to think of?!) I know they can't cover everything but there's some really major things they BETTER give us explanations for, and yes I absolutely agree 110% that WALT HAS TO BE ONE OF THEM! How could they even think about not explaining Walt and why he's so special, etc?
Also, the Whispers. We better find out what those are.
Have you seen the video where they sing about all the stuff in Lost that's never been explained/answered?

Oh, and yeah, I totally agree, this whole thing with introducing new characters when we have so many things left unexplained that need to be answered? BAD! Just...bad, Lost! You don't have time for this! Arghghghz. Unless it's all connected somehow but I really doubt that...then again, I have enough faith in the writers to believe that they might prove me wrong (and I hope they do!).
