Oh, Fringe. Oh, Zoofest. Oh, 2009!

Festival St-Ambroise Fringe Montréal / St-Ambroise Montreal Fringe Festival is hosting an OFF workshop for Fringe 2010 on February 22nd at 7pm.
It almost physically hurts to see this. I wanted to be part of Fringe again SO BADLY. By the time the festival actually rolls around, ngl, I'm probably going to cry. Thank GOD I'll be employed this time around though and I'll be too busy with my students to be around the festival all that much. Speaking of which, come July I am SO applying at Zoofest again. Fuck yes. That was one of the most funnest times in anything ever.
Which brings me to say--I've thinking back to 2009 and how it was honestly one of the best years of my life. There were a couple of REALLY bad things that happened to me in 2009--the first thing that comes to mind for me is the ill-fated internship I had with Mr. T. But even that ended up being a blessing in disguise when I left it and went on to meet B, who changed my life completely. For the best. And that's an understatement!
Oh man, the more I think about it, the more I realize/remember how 2009 was a bunch of very strangely connected events in which everything worked out in the end better than I ever thought it could have. For 2009, I never did one of those New Years posts where I talk about how my year was. I'm going to have to do that soon, because honestly, it was just really, really, really amazing and special and completely and utterly unforgettable in every single way. <3
