I've said it before and I'll say it again--I love my 5/6 group sooooo MUCH. OMG. <3 I wish it wasn't illegal to put photos of them on the web so that you guys could at least have faces to go with the names (well, not that I name them here or anything, but you know what I mean), but nooo. Ah well. I assure you they're very cute and awesome kids. :P
I love having them last period on Fridays. (Well, second-to-last period, really, but I have last period off on Fridays, so it's MY last period.) It tends to set a positive mood for my weekend, haha. <3

I am so worn out though. So worn out, argh! I was invited out to Foufs tonght and ahhh would I ever love to go. I'm so in the mood for it. Mentally I'm all like YES YES YES, but physically I'm all like NO NO NOOOOOOOOO. My throat feels like sandpaper and I'm so tired...the type of tired where you just ache all over. Ugh. Plus I have soooo much lesson-planning to do. It's been awhile. Coffee time it is!

Right now I'm listening to some musical that Candies apparently did in the 70s. Yeah, I have NO IDEA. It's terrible. Just awful. I can't even describe it. It's not even so bad that it's good--it's just damn bad. I'm SO going to delete this shit. Yuck! lol

From the linked Wiki page - "They had overwhelming popularity among young Japanese people."

Is it just me, or is that a really awkward sounding sentence?

"They were overwhelmingly popular" would sound a lot better, but personally I don't see anything wrong with "they had overwhelming popularity".

Now that I'm an English teacher, I get unreasonably anxious when people ask me these types of questions, lol. XD

Haha I meant more the "young Japanese people" part...it just sounds stilted. No anxiety meant!

Totally unrelated, but the first 4 minutes of the premiere leaked out in case you haven't seen it yet:

Never mind. Mike watched it, and I couldn't have him be spoiled and me not be in on it. That was damn anti-climatic. Out of those 4 minutes and 16 seconds we have a total of what? 20 seconds of new footage? IF EVEN.

It's short but it shows what direction they're going in and what happened after the nuke went off. I think Jack's reactions say a lot too.

I've been reading up on it. Supposedly a ton of things are different.....uh, I won't say anymore here in case of spoiling anyone. I'll make a separate post for this. :)
