I had a loooooooooooooovely time sleeping over at Tekt's last night...OMG. I miss him so much. I didn't see him for a really long time, and now I've seen him twice in one month's time. I'm very very VERY happy about that, and that's an understatement. :) And his fiancee is so sweet. So absolutely sweet and chill and genuine, she's awesome. She's a gamer--could anyone ask for more? We played Super Mario Wii which is SO AWESOME and chaotic, omg. 3 players on the screen at once is insane. I can't imagine what it would be like with 4 players! Has anyone reading this played Super Mario Wii yet? What do you think?
They also showed me Mario Galaxy which blew my mind. Why? Because of the character in it called Luma. I recognized Luma as soon as I saw him/her. I didn't recognize Luma from a commercial or a store or from seeing it online. Nope! I recognize Luma because there's a casse-croute restaurant that opened a few blocks away from us called Chez Luma. And on the sign is a big picture of--you guessed it--LUMA. Everytime Mike and I drive by that place, I always coo at the sign and wonder out loud why they decided to have a mascot for the restaurant, and why it's so damn cute. NOW I KNOW. It's a frakking Mario Bros. character!
So you know what this means, right? Technically speaking, we have a Super Mario-themed restaurant in Verdun.

That's Luma!
The next person who bashes Verdun is going to get a lecture about the awesomeness of the Mario Bros. being represented by a little casse-croute here. Ain't no argument that can beat THAT.
.......unless you find a Lost-themed restaurant somewhere in town. ;P
