NUIT BLANCHE!!! How cool is that?! YAYYYYYY. Do YOU, dear reader, wanna come? I sent out an invite on Facebook but if you're not on my Facebook you are thus invited through LJ. :) I decided to make a meeting time/place of 9 pm at McGill station.

Oh yeah, this is a Saturday night, btw--February 27th. ;)

Check out the link that oo_maya_oo posted below. :) This is the 7th annual Nuit Blanche that Montreal has had. Basically, it's when all kinds of events and exhibits and shows are happening all over Montreal until the wee hours of the morning. Usually all the museums are open (yup, til 5 AM!), special things are going on and sometimes they even serve wine. There are all kinds of nifty shows playing all over the place--all kinds of stuff, from art shows to musical concerts to plays--and many many outdoor activities too, that include everything from tobogganing to ice sculptures and SO MUCH MORE.
Most of the stuff I've been to is either free or under $5.

One year when we went, we went to this big loft near Place-Des-Arts where different stuff was happening in each room on every floor. There were all kinds of crazy art exhibits (many of them interactive), and one floor had a simulated house party. It was made up to look like someone's house and they served beer, so essentially it really WAS a party in that sense--it just wasn't actually anyone's house. It was SO FRAKKING AWESOME, I don't even have the words.

Gaelan is invited too, of course! Bring as many (or as few) people as you want! IT'S PARTY TIME. :)

Not to some weirdo rave party. I have a dayjob and live in the suburbs! I used to be a pretty crazy little raverboy though when I was "bi" and like 17-18. I had red waxed hair at one point! True story! (I hated it and washed it out the next day, which took like 40 shampooings)
