Does anyone else remember Dana Carvey? Whatever became of him?
When I was a kid, Wayne's World was the shit. I think I'd hate it if I saw it now, but when I was 10, it was awesome.
Who or what could possess me to ponder about such a random comedian when I should be working on lesson planning? Who or what could it be, tearing me away from important work and throwing my train of thought into frivolous matters such as thinking out loud about retired SNL comedians?
Could it be, could it beeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.......
SATAN?!
;D

Date: 2010-01-18 04:04 pm (UTC)Well he was out of comission for several years due to some hack job doctors messing with his heart. When he came, back, he jsut wasn't the same... as in not funny.

Date: 2010-01-18 06:10 pm (UTC)"In 1997, he underwent open-heart surgery for a blocked artery, but the doctors operated on the wrong artery. Carvey, suffering from Angina pectoris, later sued for medical malpractice and was awarded $7.5 million. He has had to undergo a total of five medical procedures (four angioplasties and one surgery) to correct his heart problems. Carvey stated in an interview with Larry King that he donated all the money awarded to him to charity."
