YAY-HAY!!!

I had a very pleasant evening chilling with Dave (my ex) last night and watching old Doctor Who episodes with Tom Baker. (Tom Baker is MY Doctor! ^_^) Annnnnnnnnnnnd guess what? He can fix my laptop! (Dave, I mean. Not Tom Baker, lol. Though I'm sure the Doctor could easily fix my laptop if he wanted to.) He opened it up and LAUGHED. He got access to the hard drive and let Mike and I pick and choose what we wanted to back up. We're going to go pick up our laptop tomorrow. Is that fantastic or what?! So remember: if you think your computer is BEYOND saving, and everyone who comes to look at it just throws their hands in the air and says, "forget it", remember Dave. Let me know, I'll put you in touch with him, and ta-dah, your computer just may be rescued. :) It IS his job, after all! He rocks. :)

Speaking of Daves, one of the other Daves I know (lol...shadaloo), is coming over tonight with the very charming Kimberly, and we're totally having an 80s night! Of course, I (temporarily) lost a good 90% of my 80s cartoons when my laptop went into its coma, but I still have Ninja Turtles, He-Man, and The Legend of Zelda on DVD. Also, Dave is bringing over something called Silverhawks. I've never heard of it, but apparently both he and Kimberly were fans of it when they were little, so it'll be cool for them to watch, and neat for me to be introduced to another 80s cartoon. :)
