Today I went to a meeting at Concordia to register my courses for next semester. I'm part-time, so I can either take 1 courses or 2. No more, no less. I took 2. I also found out that summer courses are mandatory, which is fine by me, seeing as I was planning on doing courses in the summer anyway. :)
After the meeting, I met up with Nika at the Starbucks in the Eaton Center (the one on McGill College) and we got drinks and wandered about downtown. Everything was sooo pretty with the beautiful Christmas decorations and there was SO much awesome energy in the air with all the crowds. It was actually not as crowded as it could have been, which is odd considering it's a Thursday evening shortly before the holidays come around, but hey! I'm not complaining. ;) I really can't describe the energy though, it was nice and it felt goooood. I had so much fun, I really had a good time with Nika and I really don't see her often enough. We looked for winter boots for her and pretty much just wandered around and acted goofy, which is what we always do. ;) At one point we took an escalator up to the street level of The Bay and BAM! Random party. o___O There were people lining up at the make-up counters to get consultations and make-overs which isn't too unusual, but there was also a guy playing a grand piano in the middle of the room and another guy walking around with a tray with FREE DRINKS. I got a vodka cranberry, totally free! It was so awesome!
I seriously had a reaaalllllly good time this evening, and now I'm tired but also wired. Heh, what else is new? ;)
