bee_yorkOmg. What a fantastic past 24 hours it's been. Went to a theater space launch and saw a LOT of awesome people (one awesome person in particular from whom I got excellent news and I will talk about later), drank a LOT of free (and nearly-free) booze and ate lots of AMAZINGLY TASTY free food, had supper and played Wii with Megu, and saw a bunch of awesome venues and caterers for the wedding. I realized that I was coming down with a pretty bad cold yesterday and simply drank it away. How often does THAT work?! Haha! I started throwing back some wine at the launch, thinking it would most likely make me feel worse, but it only numbed the pain, making me feel better. So I took a chance and just kept drinking. :P And today I wake up feeling SO much better than yesterday! rilms' birthday party tonight and see him and phoenixblur and many other awesome people. YAY! Good stuff, good stuff.
I sent my CVs to a few more schools for subbing. I gotta send more, but right now I'm having SO MUCH FUN being unemployed, it's a little ridiculous. Because it's at the same time that Mike is in between contracts, we're just doing everything together. We're getting SO MUCH wedding planning done and having all sorts of fun. Life is pretty darn good.
