Soooo I never wrote about how Shakespeare on Friday in Senneville went, and OMG was it ever awesome! I enjoyed the show WAY more the second time around; instead of sitting at the other end of the park, I sat DIRECTLY in front of the stage and actually got to see everything! I had a ball. Also, Tali and her friend Todd came to join me, which was awesome. Also awesome was the fact that I had all that time to kill in Senneville while Mike and the crew set up, so I went for a long & beautiful walk and ended up at the boardwalk in St-Anne-de-Bellevue! It was beautiful and I had a wonderful time. I took some photos of the water and went in to a bar where I had a glass of wine and read some Stephen King (Mike got me to start reading Christine which I absolutely LOVE so far)! Anyway, it was a fucking fantastic evening that ended with me and Mike going to [livejournal.com profile] phoenixblur's house party in her cozy backyard where I FINALLY got to meet her dog and OMG he is like the CUTEST dog everrrrr. Love love love. <3333

Saturday was spent outdoors nearly the entire day...I had a BBQ at Mount Royal with [livejournal.com profile] v0idnull, [livejournal.com profile] urbangeo, and [livejournal.com profile] shadaloo, and then we walked over to [livejournal.com profile] v0idnull's place and had drinks on his balcony where we were joined by [livejournal.com profile] obskura, and then we were supposed to watch a Bollywood movie but unfortunately there were no subtitles and we don't speak Hindi, so we ended up watching Airplane! instead which was fine by me 'cause I've only seen that movie once, when I was really little, so I didn't remember it at all. Well, I can say now that I understand a LOT more jokes on Family Guy! Hahaha. ;)

Sunday I don't remember what I did...probably nothing. But yesterday was Monday, which means Mike's day off, so we got together with Drew and attempted to drive to St-Jean-sur-Richelieu for the balloon festival, alas that didn't exactly work out because of the weather but at least while we were there we ate at Harvey's (YUM on so many levels!) and we met Drew's aunt who was awesome! Then we drove back to Montreal and had a fun night ordering pizza, drinking wine, and watching movies. Goooooood times. <3

I'm feeling very blah today. I have to find a job. I sorta made the effort today, but I could do better. I could also do worse. Whatever. I really don't feel like going back. I dunno. There's a lot I have to say about that, but that's for another time.

jshlksershg you have no idea how much I love Airplane! I watch it probably at least once a month and can quote nearly the entire thing from memory. Friggin' brilliance. The sequel (Airplane 2) is lolarious but really stupid. Worth watching if you can find it cheap though. I got it at Future Shop for a dollar due to mis-stickering.

<3 I'm so happy to have watched it! I knew some of the more famous quotes from that movie ("Don't call me Shirley!") but I had NO idea that Family Guy made so many references to it. I understand so many more jokes now!

I also saw the sequel when I was younger but I don't remember it either. Is there a part 3, too? I might have seen that. Why was Leslie Neilson so awesome? Also, why do we need to talk about Leslie Neilson in past tense? Booo. :(
