WEDDINGS! Omg

bee_yorkWhoooaaaa wedding planning omg. Mike and I had a meeting today at a place we really like and want--L'Ambroisie on the Lachine Canal near Atwater Market. :D We're also waiting to hear back from Olympia, as his parents have a meeting there next week with their friend who could supposedly get us a great deal, or something. We'll see. L'Ambroisie is about 10,000 more gorgeous and awesome than Olympia is, but Olympia might also be half the price. :P So we'll see!
Speaking of the wedding...sigh. I wrote about this on Facebook, but I guess I'll write it here too, just in case. We had to cut our guest list down by a LOT. To make a long story short, I want a small wedding, and the list was getting out of control. So Mike and I decided to come to an ultimatum-- immediate family, OUR aunts and uncles (not our parents' aunts and uncles) and FIRST cousins ONLY. As for our friends, the way we went about cutting people was, if we don't hang out with you 1-on-1 (or 2-on-2, whatever) on a regular basis, or if you haven't even ever been to our apartment or ever seen us except for when we're in a big group or a party or whatever, then you're cut. It sucks, I know, but hopefully everyone will understand we're not rich! It's completely my fault for getting too over-excited and telling everyone they were invited before we even finalized the list. That was very, very stupid of me, I know. Hopefully no one's feelings are hurt. :( Thankfully we didn't even send the Save The Date mail out yet! :P
I'm very anxious waiting to find out about this supposed deal we can get at Olympia. I'm hoping it turns out to be not much of a deal at all, because I really want L'Ambroisie! You know how perfect it is? There's a LOT of different reasons, but I'll write about them another time 'cause I'm feeling too lazy to do it now. :P
