Down with Bell Sympatico!
Jul. 15th, 2011 03:34 pmOMG I hate these fuckers so much. I've been with them for 4 years and for awhile, I thought they were the best thing ever (I went through a LOT of different internet companies when I moved to Verdun and had huge issues with all of them). But in this past year, their quality has REALLY gone down, and that's an understatement. To make a long and agonizing story short, I've had to call them....I think it's up to SEVEN times now, since January, for repeatedly making mistakes on our monthly bill. The last 3 times was for the same problem they kept saying would be resolved, but wasn't--a modem we had sent back (we changed modems this year) that they charged us $70 for and never credited back even though we had already sent it back (and had the receipt for it). Every time I'd call they'd say they'd credit it for us, but never did. The last time they finally did, but then they RECHARGED us for it. I couldn't take it anymore. Having been a phone rep myself for many, MANY years, I usually have nothing but sympathy for these people and am ALWAYS super-duper polite with them. But this is too much. TOO FUCKING MUCH. I can't even begin to calculate how much time I've wasted on the phone with these people because of mistakes THEY made. And how much time I've wasted trying to track down and calculate all the errors they've made--wtf, mate? That shouldn't be up to me to do. That's THEIR job. Anyway, all this fucking wasted time and energy and rage...this was one time too many. I called them up and absolutely lost it on the poor rep. I say 'poor' rep but to be honest I don't feel THAT sorry for him because I feel much more sorry for ME. What the hell did I do to deserve this absolutely utterly horribly shitty service? I've been fucked up the ass so badly by these people. Enough is enough. At this point, I don't feel ANY need to try and restrain myself. It's too fucking much.
Anyway, I kept demanding to speak to a manager, but the rep refused to pass me to one. So I took out my anger on him instead. *shrug* What else are ya gonna do?! :P Anyhow, I screamed and yelled and raged like I've never done before...well, except at certain students. ;) IT FELT SO GOOD. It honestly felt like a workout. I think I lost weight during that call.
Anyway, after bitching and yelling for twenty-five minutes, I finally got him to delete the modem charge. We'll see tomorrow if it actually went through. For now, all that yelling has made me feel so fresh and ENERGIZED. I'm on total adrenaline right now! What's even better is that I'm going to a metal show tonight, so how perfect is that?! XD I don't even like metal, but my friend's boyfriend is performing and I've always said I wanted to see him in action, so here we go!
In other news, last night Mike and I tried out that sushi place behind our building finally, and it was pretty good! Overpriced (then again, what *isn't* overpriced around here? That's what I get for living near a toursity area, lol), but still good. Yay for sushi, and I think the ONLY sushi restaurant I've ever been to in Montreal that has actual *Japanese* employees. How odd. o_O;
