Happy summer, everyone!

bee_yorkHot damn! I'm sitting on my balcony, barefoot in a sundress with my laptop and a beer right now, and hollyyyyyyyyyy fuck does it ever feel good. Like, words can't describe.
A drunken frat girl was just running up and down the street with her friends, screaming "IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!" to random strangers. It was pretty funny, but I'm glad they all went inside 'cause that kinda thing can get old fast. ;)
My week has been pretty shitty except today was pretty good, and THIS awesome, awesome thing just happened: my godsister is subletting a place for the summer DOWN THE STREET FROM ME. She lives off the same street I do, and last night I went to see her and we timed how long it took me to get door to door (answer: 3.5 minutes! HA!). We played with her dog and went to the reservoir at McGill and met some cool people, then we went back to her place and she made pina coladas...it was SO much fun, I can't believe she's here for the whole summer, less than a five-minute walk away. We're going to be hanging out together SO much, I'm so excited! To put things in perspective, before this she lived in St-Laurent, and before that, LAVAL (!), so from St-Laurent and Laval to a few minutes down the street...WOW! She's been here a week and loves the McGill Ghetto so far and says she can't wait to explore some more (she works CRAZY hours, omg!) and told me she's my new walking buddy, OMG this is going to be soooo much fun. <3
Three and a half weeks left of classes! AHHHH!!!!! Then EXAM time, ugh. Then my contract's up. I'm eager for summer vacation, but not eager to be unemployed! lol, them's the breaks though with contract jobs, eh? I'll be fine. ;)
