A week of festivities

bee_yorkAH, I have such a headache! Well, it's been quite the weekend. On Friday night I went to my first Cinco de Mayo party (yeah, a day late, but Friday > Thursday for partying, duh) that was combined with a birthday party, and OMG IT WAS SO MUCH FUN. I got fantastically drunk but kept my wits about me enough so that I managed to stop myself before throwing up. ;)
Saturday was the REAL party day; yup, that's right, I said day...the whole day was reserved for various festivities that Mike organized to celebrate his 30th. It was a LOT of fun. There was beer on 3 different terraces, an early dinner at Tanpopo (where you get to sit on the floor, they try their best to make the setting authentically Japanese...it SORTA was, but not really...and the food was Asian fusion, NOT Japanese, but whatever), I saw the show Mike's currently working on (it's called Book Club, it's playing at Freestanding Room and it's genuinely the best show I've seen in a LONG time, although I absolutely hated the ending), and then we spent some time at Frappe and La Cabane. Damn good times! :)
Mike's actual birthday was on Wednesday, but our schedules didn't match that day, so the two of us celebrated on Tuesday instead, as he had the day off and on Tuesdays I finish at 11:30 AM. We went to karaoke at KTV, which was kind of an accident as we had planned to go to Pang-Pang instead, only to find out that they are very randomly closed on Tuesdays. That turned out the best thing ever, because KTV has changed since we were last there a few years ago and OMG is it ever better now, and a SHITLOAD better than Pang-Pang on a million levels! We are NEVER going back to Pang-Pang ever again. KTV all the motherfuckin' waaaaaay!!!!! XD
Now it's Mother's Day (already?!) and the Mother's Day festivities are about to begin. Too bad I don't have any time for lesson planning this weekend. OMG the next week at school is going to be intense, which is to say NOTHING for the next few weeks following it. There's only 4 weeks left of classes, then it's exam time. Can you say CRUNCH TIME??!? I feel stressed just typing this out. I better learn myself some yoga and/or other relaxing techniques fast, or I just may burn out before June 30th. :/
