Bargh! (A combination of 'argh' and bah')

How lovely that my vacation starts off with the flu and then gets replaced by MY PERIOD. This, along with the wintery weather we've been getting this week...what bad timing all around! Arghh. I'm going to the West Island tonight for Passover sader at Mike's parents' place, but I'm supposed to go there earlier to hang out with a VERY good friend. The thing is, I don't have any desire whatsoever (and that's an understatement) of sitting on the 211 and then getting off and waiting in the cold, waiting waiting waiting, then taking another bus to meet up with her. GodsDAMN the fucking Waste Island! If it had proper transportation I could actually visit my friends there more often. Now I guess I'll have to cancel on my friend, and wait until Mike gets home and just go with him to his parents' place by car so that I don't have to take any buses or actually move around much at all. Bah. As if I really feel like hanging around the apartment during vacation, ya know?! I don't think so! I wanna go OUT! I wanna see my friends! BAAAAHHHH.

And next person who whines WAAAHHH YOUR PERIOD, GROSSSSSSS, is gonna get SUCH a mouthful from me, omg will they ever. It's a normal, unfortunate body function. Wtf do you want me to do when I cancel on you because of it? Invent some inoffensive elaborate lie for your precious virgin ears? Yeah, OK. Grow up, you prudes are making fools of yourselves and y'all don't even know it. >:/

Maybe it's because most of my friends in high school were females, but I never understood how squeamish some guys get about M-E-N-S-T-R-U-A-T-I-O-N.

I don't get it, either. I'd totally understand if I started an entire CONVERSATION about it, or went into detail, but just mentioning it to explain why I'm canceling on someone? What's the big deal?

Of course, some cancellations don't require explanations (I can't make it to the bar tonight, sorry guys!), but certain cancellations (like something that you've been planning together for a few weeks, or a case where if I cancel, the other person is screwed), I think for bigger things like that, it requires *some* kind of explanation. It's like...do these people prefer if I lie in these cases? :P

Oh god, this was like my trip to South Africa. I got violently, violently ill (we thought it was food poisoning at first). When they FINALLY wore off (or was properly medicated) I got my Happy Time of the Month® and then badly sunburned. I was in EXCELLENT SHAPE.

Omg, that's awful! It's SO much worse when these kinds of things happen on trips. ;_;
