Nuit Blanche was so fucking awesome! Why oh why does it have to only be once a year?! Like Rocky Horror, I wish it were at *least* twice a year. ;_; Anyway, good stuff omg. Except...the Old Port closed down by 2 AM! What?! Laaaaame. Otherwise, we did some of the usual stuff-->Place-des-Arts & Place-des-Spectacles, the Belgo, McCord Musuem...Place-des-Spectacles is down the street from us and has had a bunch of GIGANTIC lit-up inflatable balls that have different images projected on them with weird music playing for about 2 months now, and we pass them every day but never bother to check them out. But for Nuit Blanche, it was a good place to start, we figured. ;) The Belgo was its usual fun quirky weirdness, but not as awesome as the other years. McCord had a toy exhibit, which was pretty cool. We never made it to the Contemporary Art Museum because for some reason it had a WICKED line-up outside of it. I have NEVER seen that before. o_O So we skipped that place. We checked out some of the Underground City art stuffs, and then later when we got to Old Port, the exhibits and events there had already closed down. There were still a lot of people there, and it had begun to snow pretty hard at that point, so it was a really cool & cozy atmosphere. I walked back toward home with Mike and Marie through Jacques-Cartier Square and it was packed with happy people and lots of snow and pretty lights and omg I was SO cozy! It was really fun. It is so amazing to live right near the heart of the all the Nuit Blanche stuff. This time last year we still lived in Verdun, so we still had to take a taxi home, bleh. Not anymore! Also, we were able to stop off at home in between spots to get stuff & drink more, etc., which was really nifty. Ha! Sooo much fun. <3

Today Mike and I are going to the West Island...gonna stop by my parents' house for a bit and see my sister, who's in from Edmonton, and then we're going out for supper with Mike's parents. Then tomorrow we have a bunch of last-minute errands to run to prepare for our trip, and then the next day is ORLANDO! Disney, here I come!!! :D
