Woohoo! I'm back in the West Island, and I'm going to see Tron tonight, with Mike, my good buddy Shamini, and [livejournal.com profile] rilms, who I'm finally seeing during his holiday return to Montreal. :D I've never seen the original Tron, so I'm not quite sure what to expect, but it looks like a really fun movie. I'm excited. :)

Mike's parents have sattelite TV (have no idea if I spelled that correctly since this damn computer doesn't have Firefox and therefore no spellcheck, UGH), and Caroline in the City is on, how randomly lovely is that! :D But I shouldn't watch too much of it...nor sit here and type too much...I've got a million billion essays left to correct, blah!

Are your students allowed to use spellcheck for their essays? It would at least make grading a bit easier :P

I saw Tron in 3D last week but I found the 3D to be more gimmicky, a distraction, and poorly implemented. I'll take crisp HD over 3D any day. Aside from that it was a good movie though.

Tron was horribly boring, I thought. The ONLY thing I liked about it was the 3D and the special effects, and this is coming from someone who HAAATES 3D and was hoping to find a non 3D-version to see! ;)

Oh, and the soundtrack! OMG I gotta get the soundtrack. :) Daft Punk for the motherfrakking #*$&*ing WIN. <3
