I'm feeling a lot better since my last post. Thanks for the kind words, everyone! I tend to get a little melodramatic these days 'cause I'm so tired and just so unused to this kind of workload. But hey, if you don't get melodramatic in your own journal, where else ya gonna do it?! ;)

I've been finally, FINALLY watching Doctor Who! The newer series, I mean. The ones that started in 2005 with doctor #9. I've always been quite fascinated by the original series and grew up watching the 4th doctor (Tom Baker ftmfw!), and everyone I've ever mentioned it to has FREAKED when I told them I never saw the new version. So finally, Mike and I are catching up. We've only watched the first four episodes so far, but we both agree it's quite awesome. It's got EXACTLY the same feel as the original series, imho, so that in itself is awesome. And I LOVE doctor 9! I know everyone boy and girl alike has a hard-on for David Tennant, but we haven't gotten to him yet. ;) I know two episodes from now though is a DALEK episode! DALEKS! How can you not love DALEKS?!??! Omg. The years of utter terror those little fuckers have brought me. Exterminaaaaaaaaaate!
If they aren't equally corny and creepy in the new version, I'm gonna be hella disappointed! :P

Christopher Ecleston was a good doctor. David Tenent was the greatest doctor. Matt Smith is everything David Tenent was, only 5/6 six years younger.

If anything, I had hoped David Tenant would have been Scotty in the new star trek movie. First off, he's scottish, and secondly, he's the fucking doctor.

Whatevs crazy DW fandom, I liked Nine a lot! Some people are all, "Oh but he's such an unfeeling bastard" but you know what, I kinda like unfeeling bastards. :P I also just love Christopher Eccleston. I liked David Tennant but he got too emo for me; it's legit emo but I don't handle it well in shows that aren't BSG. :P
