I'm home alone and even though I should be lesson-planning, I decided to see if I could watch the last 5 minutes of the Lost finale without crying. (I haven't seen it since it originally aired.) It didn't work! Haha. Now I can't stop sniffing and blowing my nose. Omg. What a work of art the last few minutes are, holy crap.
Anyway, what I want to know is ...what was your favourite part of the finale? Which part did you think was the saddest?
Is anyone, anyone at all going to argue that Vincent laying down with Jack as he died is the most heart-breaking moment of the entire episode? (If not in the entire series? lol)

Date: 2010-08-28 10:05 pm (UTC)I didn't cry at any point in the finale because I am heartless wench. I actually loathe the part with Vincent because I felt so damn manipulated at that point, el oh el. I guess also I expected him to be there, so it wasn't really caught up in the moment.

Date: 2010-08-29 03:16 am (UTC)I am weird, I think maybe from film school? Because I get hypersensitive to having my emotions manipulated, so when I am watching something (particular things that are supposed to make you sad) and I keep going, "Am I really feeling this or are they bringing out all the tricks?" through an entire scene. When I am really feeling something though it's like I lost a family member I cry so hard (for LOST this season Dr. Linus, I thought I was having a breakdown, el oh ellllllllllll).
