Let the good times roll!
Jul. 16th, 2010 03:30 pmI've been continuing to party it up--Wednesday exceptionally so, as it was me and Mike's "fake" anniversary. To clarify; it was the anniversary of when we got married in Vegas (already 6 years ago)! So we went to Big in Japan, that Japanese brasserie/restaurant on Pine and St-Laurent. We ordered a lot of different things, and it was boring and bland. I was so disappointed! We did have ONE good thing though; the cold ramen salad. That actually had some taste. But if you've been to Japan and have had real Japanese food before, I wouldn't recommend going there unless you want to be really let down.
Other than that, we bar-hopped and got pretty drunk and went to see Uncalled For at the Just For Laughs; yeah it was the same show they put on at Fringe (they won the Fringe, hence being at the Just for Laughs) but I liked it so much that I wanted to see it again, and I wanted Mike to see it. Unfortunately Mike didn't like it but we don't always have the exact same taste in everything (although we NEARLY do, haha).
We have 2 choices for our REAL anniversary; the day he told me his real feelings for me and how he loved me, or the day he proposed to me. We both agreed vehemently that the day he revealed his true feelings is MUCH more monumental than the proposal (which we both knew was coming anyway), and so *that's* going to be our real anniversary. August 2nd!
lol. Any excuse to party, amirite? ;)
Speaking of parties, tonight I'm going to Nat's EPIC birthday bash at the Best Western. I'm gonna party my ass off, or at least I plan to. Ha!
