I attached my digicam to my computer to transport a big bunch of photos from my camera onto my computer. It was a fairly big batch (maybe 40 photos) so I left my computer for a bit and came back, and the photos are GONE. WTF?! Did they DELETE themselves?! They're not copied into ANY folder, nor were they in the computer's recycling bin. In fact, they're not even on my camera anymore.
WTF??!
I've had this camera for YEARS and I have NEVER EVER EVER had anything CLOSE to this EVER happening.
EVER.
Does anyone have any idea what could have happened or if the photos ended up on my computer, where they might have ended up?!?!?!
If I accidentally deleted my photos by something actually *happening* (ie, accidentally pressing delete or by dropping/breaking the camera) I would be livid enough, but for them to just disappear for absolutely NO REASON into THIN AIR?! I FEEL LIKE SCREAMING RIGHT NOW.
Seriously, I have never heard of something like this in my life. WTF just happened?!??!?!?!?

This is indeed very WTF. I mean even if you had deleted your photos by accident, they should still be in the recycling bin.
