"In Russia long ago..."
Feb. 12th, 2010 10:15 pmI've been on such a RASPUTIN kick lately. I mean the song. That 70s disco tune by Boney M. I find myself listening to it every day. Like right now. It just finished, so I'm going to put it on again. I hope my neighbours enjoy it. <3
I am soooo tired but don't want to go to bed just yet. The same thing happened last night. I'm drinking coffee but it isn't helping. I've had so much coffee today. At work we got a free breakfast! (It's teacher appreciation week, apparently, so we got little gifts every day left on our desks or in our cubbies. I got flowers, chocolate I couldn't eat because there were nuts in it, and a Chinese fortune cookie.) Our wonderful principal put together (HERSELF, mind you) an entire frakking BUFFET for us. It was sooooo awesome, omg. There were danishes, chocolatines, all kinds of juicy, sweet, sugary, fruity pastries, cake (!), chocolate, various meats, cheeses, eggs, yogurt, bread, croissants, jam, paté, fruit...OMG IT WAS INSANE. And soooooooooooo good!
It was a ped day, so we didn't have students to teach. And there were no meetings today either. So we were able to relax and stuff our faces. Yummmm.
Also, yesterday was Pajama Day at school which meant everyone came to school wearing pajamas. I wore Guitar Hero pajamas and the kids FREAKED. They loved it, lol. It was so much fun. It was soooo cozy teaching in pajamas, I had no idea it would make that much of a difference, but it sure did. I wish every day was Pajama Day. <3
