Parent/teacher night= survived and done with. We got off at 11:30 this morning as a thanks for our effort, which was pretty awesome. (Today and tomorrow are ped days, in case you're wondering what happened to the kids while the teachers all went home...lol!) My day off has been productive so far. I got myself TEH SWINE FLU shot and went downtown to have coffee with Sham and Nika, who I don't see anywhere near often enough. We also visited Mike at work, which was very fun. Now I'm home and exhausted but trying to stay awake so that I can be up when Mike gets home after his show so we can watch the rest of the Prison Break movie. I can't wait til he's done with this show! I am so fed up of having opposite schedules and hardly ever getting to spend time with him.

I'm also fed up of going back to friends-lock all my posts that mention things I maybe shouldn't leave out in the open. I wish there was a way I could f-lock my entire journal in one shot. That would be so useful! Oh well.

When I decided to F-lock my journal, I had to go back through 4 years of posts to close it all down...took quite some time...but I got it done. I'm just glad I can auto-lock all my future posts!

Yeah, I'm at 5 years here! I just can't bring myself to do it. Meh. I could always make a new journal, but I don't want to do that for a variety of reasons.
I don't think there's any harm in keeping this one the way it is, but once in awhile I'll get paranoid, lol. I'll try and save my paranoia for Facebook though. ;)

paid members can do this ~

I locked it because some people I didn't want to see my journal found it and didn't like what they saw...I got in a bit of trouble, but could of been worse...

It took me a year or so to lock it all down...but you have to start somewhere!!

lol, and yes, facebook is much more of a devil...as far as I know!

I've been careful about what I mention in my LJ. My full name is nowhere, nor is the name of certain places I work at. So I think I'm OK. My full name is nowhere at all on the internet, actually, with a few exceptions-->FB being one of them, of course. ;)

Yeah I know they can, but I can't imagine spending any actual money on LJ!

I've been a paid member for 2 years~

So you used to be a non-pay member?
What made you decide to become a paid member?

Have you noticed I tend to post quite a bit. I figured I wasted enough money on crap (ie. smoking, back then), why not spend the 20$ it costs for a FULL YEAR of something I enjoy reasonably and do a lot

No, I mean which aspects of being a paid member drew you in? I know a lot of people who do it just for the extra icons, which I think it absurd. To each their own, but honestly, there's got to be better reasons than that!

I forget. It was Jan 2 (I remember because its my renewal date) so I might have been hungover still and had my Visa card too close to the computer.

OH WAIT, I wanted to do a voice post and at the time they were paid-members-only I think.. It took me like 6 months before I even actually did it...

"I'm also fed up of going back to friends-lock all my posts that mention things I maybe shouldn't leave out in the open"

Maybe you should start with this one. You're indirectly encouraging people to look through your journal for naughty tidbits that shouldn't be public. Though maybe I'm reading into this too much.

I think you are. ;) Anything that's really HONESTLY "naughty" was never even written down here in the first place. ;)

Although, as a teacher you can never be too careful.

I would recommend spending the $20 to be a paid member to do the security lock. I did it and it was worth hours of my time.

Oh lol no! I appreciate the fear on my behalf, but I'm fine.
Again, if anything were THAT bad, it was never written down in the first place. ;P

Yeah, you have a VERY small internet footprint. Good for you!

With that, I found a record of your Nevada marriage certificate!

Yes, I found it too. XD Whilst on that subject, I gotta say--I can't wait to get it legalized here in Canada. ;)

You better be there for that, buddy! ;P

HAHAHAH!
There's nothing juicy, I kind of wish there was! I'm just not THAT exciting. I think people took my semi-paranoia a little too far. ;)
