I've never understood the appeal of Hugh Jackman, but I never DON'T like watching John Travolta. I find it hard to look past the fact that he's a Scientologist though. I wish I could ignore that, but I can't. :/
Travolta is about the only Scientologist I can really watch without his beliefs getting in the way - I like that he's pretty quiet about it, unlike someone like Tom Cruise who's all AH LOOK AT ME AND MY CRAZY BELIEFS. Also, Hugh Jackman is too stuck in the action/comic book mold, but he's actually a really good dramatic actor. Although I have just now decided to replace him in my top 3 list with Philip Seymour Hoffman.
What?! Really?! How come? He's probably #1 for me. It's Man on the Moon that did it for me. I had never been so impressed by an actor as I was by his portrayal of Andy Kaufman (I can never remember how to spell his name, ugh).
