Still sick, though certainly better than yesterday and much, MUCH better than Friday.
I ended up checking out D&P's joint birthday party last night, but pretty much just stopped by to say happy birthday and chat for a bit.
Today I went out for brunch at Kirin with Mike's family as it's his grandmother's birthday. I didn't eat much but I wish I could have as their food is very yummy for a buffet, and they have such a crazy big selection!

Anyway, yay for fall, my favourite season! And my favourite part of it? Halloween and the Rocky Horror Picture Show! YAAAYYYYY I can't wait, I can't wait, I can't waaaaait. ^____^ I think I will redo my Starbuck costume from the BSG party I had on my birthday.
Anyway--me, Mike, and Paul are planning to go on Saturday night the 31st, for the 11 pm showing. Would anyone else like to come? It's playing at the Rialto (in the Mile End area).

BTW. Because I'm totally, utterly fed up of this crap: If you're one of those types who say "maybe" to everything because you wanna wait things out to see if anything better comes along, do me a favour and don't even bother. I mean it. I'm fed up of flakey people who make planning things absolutely impossible.

New Family Guy and American Dad tonight, wohoo! And that new Cleveland spin-off. Did anyone else happen to catch that last week? It was terrible!

This is my fave season too - I live for Halloween.

And really? I freakin loved the Cleveland Show.

Oooh! You are one of MY people. ;) What are you dressing up as this year?

I didn't like the Cleveland show, but last night's Family Guy was freakin' hilarious!!!

I kind of go back and forth on the live RHPS, but I usually end up not going. I went every year when I was in high school and cegep, and now I find I'd much rather just watch it at home. I'm turning into a crochety old lady, I think. If you go when there are fire-twirlers, keep an eye out for a very good looking fire-twirler with chocolate eyes and muttonchop sideburns, his name's Cory and I was in love with him for most of high school.

I'm super psyched for Halloween though, I'm co-hosting a party on the 30th and we've already spent about 60$ - AT A DOLLAR STORE - on decorations!

I'm already drawing a blank as to what last night's Family Guy was about. Isn't that pathetic? :/
I started going to RHPS really late in life. I went for the first time in 2004, when I was 23! ^^; I only wish I had started going earlier. I just never really gave it much thought when I was younger, because I never knew when or where it was, and never really heard about it much.

I can relate to your excitement for your Halloween party. I'm already getting excited about the Lost party and am working on decorations and other little extras. ;) Speaking of which, no one else has mentioned a preference for which story arc we watch, so it seems like the Charlie/Desmond story arc is strongly in our favour.
Brotha'.

Honestly, I love decorating and watching campy horror all month but I rarely dress up. I think I'm just going to be a zombie. I gotta think of what kind of zombie tho.

Yay!

The first year I went was 2003, but I grew up watching it - my dad actually went back in the late 70's dressed as FranknFurter!!

That is SO awesome! Omg. *___*
Also, Tim Curry is some kind of god. He's on the same plain as David Bowie, in that sense. I can't really explain it. You can't describe these things. They just...are! XD

Oh definitely, Curry is at the very least a demigod. I think Anthony Stewart Head is up there, as well. Unf.

I think the Cleveland Show is still a bit lame cause they are sort of "introducing" characters if you will... I still like the premise, Cleveland was always a favourite character cause he's all quiet and then all of the sudden can go completely insane.

However... I'll miss all the times when Peter crashes into his house and he falls out of the second story while in the bathtub!

I've never been big on ASH. Then again, I was never a Buffy fan, so I guess that might have something to do with it. ;)
I *have* heard him sing Sweet Transvestite though, I should mention. ^.^

Have you seen Repo! The Genetic Opera? He does a lot of singing in that, and it's FANTASTIC. It's about a future where having new organs is fashionable, and ASH plays a repo man who goes after people who renege on their organ payments. And the guy who is in charge is played by Paul Sorvino. And Paris Hilton is in it. Really, it's amazing.

I've been DYING to see that, actually! I have the soundtrack, it's pretty sweet. :D I remember someone posting in [livejournal.com profile] montreal about it last year, because it was playing in theaters in other cities, but not here, unfortunately!
