Oh yeah, now I remember! My weekend was awesome. Tea, pie & karaoke on Friday, Steph's party on Saturday, and helping out selling raffle tickets at the Poker Night fundraiser on Sunday. Damn good times, oh yes! ^_^

A bunch of other random thoughts & stuff:

-Tristan's coming over tonight to discuss the wedding with us. (We want him as our MC.) It's going to be a laaate supper as he won't be here til 9-ish. Mike's making ribs though. YUM!

-Game of Thrones season premiere was...meeehhh, it was OK. I really don't love that show as much as everyone else does. I'm not sure why. It's a well-made show and it has some crazy-ass storylines. I just always find my mind wandering while I'm watching. And everyone fucking looks the same. I can't keep track of all the godsdamn characters!

-Family Guy this week. SO. FUNNY. Omg! I had just about given up on that show (just watch it for the odd joke) but holy crap was I ever pleasantly surprised this week. :D

-Left Doctor Who on such a cliff-hanger. Can't wait to see what happens next!

-I know I already mentioned this in my last entry, but WICKED!!! It can't be mentioned enough times!

Nooo I love GoT! The first eps are such a slog because there's so much groundwork to fill in, I always like it bettter when things get rolling.

I don't find the earlier episodes any worse and I actually liked the very first episode quite a bit, I just have an overall feeling of "it's good, but kind of dull" throughout the whole series. My favourite episodes last season were those with Tirian in them because he is AWESOME! But I don't care much for anyone else. It's a REALLY well-made show, but honestly not my thing. At the same time, there's something about it that I find good enough that I keep coming back for more. But I generally don't like fantasy-based shows or movies. I don't know why. I think it's the style of acting and dialogue for the most part.

Gaelan's gotten me into GoT but we don't have HBO so we've only watched the first season. I occasionally find myself feeling weird for finding Peter Dinklage so good looking, and then I feel weird for feeling weird.

OMG yes he is VERY hot. Don't worry, I find everyone else I know feels the EXACT same way you just described; we're not used to finding little people attractive, and I think it's because there are so few of them in the media. The ones who ARE in the media are, most very very unfortunately, usually used as comic relief and nothing more. He is gorgeous, and I try and picture getting it on with him and then wonder if it would feel like fooling around with a child, and then I feel icky, and then I feel offensive and bigoted for feeling icky, and it's a wierd circle of uncomfortableness that I'm trying to get over. But every other woman I've spoken to about him seems to feel the same way. I think if Hollywood/mainstream media weren't such a cesspool of crap, we'd see more people of various shapes and sizes and be more used to it, and we wouldn't feel so strange when presented with people we're not used to seeing.

I hope that made some kind of sense, lol. ^_^;
