I came down with a fever and a flu the other day, and teaching like this has been tough. Now I've lost my voice completely. As in, I can't even whisper! I lost it yesterday evening and it hasn't come back yet. Getting around town without the ability to talk has been...interesting. Teaching kids without the ability to talk has been even MORE interesting. Being mute certainly pushes me to my limits of creativity. :P

Other than my sudden lack of being able to communicate vocally, all is well. I don't feel as sick as I did yesterday, though I don't know if I'm out of the woods yet. This has been the weirdest flu, intensifying and then mellowing, then intensifying again all week long. And teaching yesterday with a full-fledged fever was NUTS. Between the fever and flu pills I was doped up on, I felt like I was living some kind of very painful cartoon. Today was more of a sitcom, with the lack of fever and alllll the zany antics that ensued with my not being able to talk. Oh, life!

Mike and I went to the publicity workshop for Fringe on Tuesday night. We have to put together a press release. This is BEYOND overwhelming. I can't believe this is really finally happening. I don't know what words to use to describe how I feel!

Speaking of fevers and wonders and loss of a sense of reality, Lost was frakking crazy this week! Not as good as last week's episode--which was one of my favourite episodes of the entire SERIES, never mind of the whole season--but still very, very awesome. Amazing to finally get a Miles-centric episode. :D And the Hurley/Miles banter is SO FRAKKIN' ADOURABLE AND FUNNY AND AWESOME I COULD JUST DIE. XD XD XD
Also, is it even possible that Lost is getting even more mindfucky than it was before? 'Cause it totally is!
