First things first ---good luck and BEST of the best wishes ever for [livejournal.com profile] getoutofmyband! Here's wishing you a speedy, healthy recovery. I hope all went well today and that all continues to go well. You are in my thoughts, hon. I wish nothing but the best for you. <3333

Minus 15! BEFORE the wind chill. Oi. Despite that though I'm kind of in the mood to go out, but I'm not sure where. I don't have any money to spend so to say that narrows things down is a bit of an understatement. And given the temperature I certainly don't want to do anything 'outdoorsy'. So I have no idea what to do! It's my last weekend of vacation and I want to do something with it...but what I don't know. And I'm on my period so drinking is out. Dammit! Oh well, I'll be drinking PLENTY next weekend at Josh's farewell party, which I'm starting to get *really* down and sad about. :(

Well, whatever I end up doing, there's much more BSG to finish up! I'm a little ways into season 4 now, so Mike and I will be nice and ready and all caught up for the airing of the final episodes next weekend. SO MANY NEW SEASONS OF AWESOME AWESOME TV TO WATCH. American Idol (happy fangirl sigh) this Tuesday and Wednesday, BSG next Friday, and Lost (omfg LOSSSTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!) the Wednesday after. I AM A HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY GIRL. Damn there's nothing quite like GOOD television, is there? A nice FREE way to spend your evening. Following a good series doesn't make you poor, it doesn't make you gain weight, it doesn't kill your brain cells, it doesn't give you lung cancer, and it isn't illegal. It's so good to have something that you can enjoy that doesn't harm you in some way, ya know?!
GOOD TV SHOWS ARE GOOD. They can lead to new friendships, they inspire people, they motivate people, and all-in-all, they're just good for the mind and the soul and they just do you good. Shows like Lost and BSG inspire me to be a better writer. And a more devoted writer. They're just like...medicine for feeling better, for feeling creative.

Also: I can't stop changing my LJ layout, dammit!
In before someone says "OH BUT TV DOES MAKE YOU GAIN WEIGHT BLA BLA BLA BLA BAAAAAA". No. TV does NOT make you gain weight. Being lazy makes you gain weight.

Last night I saw one particular sex scene in BSG that I can't get out of my head. I'm still thinking about it today! It wasn't so much a turn-on for me as much as it instead left me weak-kneed and butterfly-ish.

So my question to you, dear readers, is this:
Do you ever see a sex scene (or a scene that's at least sexual in nature) in a TV show or movie (or any kind of fandom) that you cannot get out of your head afterwards? The type of scene that makes you look at the characters differently from then on?
In a good way, of course!

Not, and I repeat, NOT a scene that turns you on. That's pretty common, I would say. I'm asking about a scene that makes you feel all light-headed and fuzzy. A scene that gives you butterflies in your stomach. :)

If you don't mind, could you share with me? I'm so curious!
